Devil Dogs on the Hunt — "Life Ain't Better, But I Can Shoot a Gun" | WWII Marine Assault Tee | Warrior Shaman

$59.80 NZD

Straight off the chorus of Devil Dogs on the Hunt.

"Life ain't pretty, life ain't grand
Ain't no hope, just shit in your hand
Quit your bitchin', fall in and run
Life ain't better, but I can shoot a gun"

That last line is the whole thing. Not a brag. A shrug from a man who has already lost the argument with the world and is still moving forward with a rifle in his hands.

The art is a lone Marine going up the slope in the middle of an assault landing — pack on, Garand up, mouth open, boots buried in the ash. No unit, no flag, no name. He's every man who has ever been handed a bad morning and told to run at it anyway.

Printed as a heavy distressed screenprint knockout. The shirt reads through the artwork the way a forty-year-old tour tee does — cracked ink, broken stencil, holes worn straight through. It is meant to look like you have owned it a long time.
